Wow. Woodrow Wilson loved the fuck out of soccer, "Talk to the hand!" makes a comeback, Glenn Beck reminds you he's an alcoholic, CHARLIE ROSE HO HO!

When a larger or more dominant animal makes a threat display, a younger or more submissive animal usually backs down, and violence is averted. A low growl accompanied by a stare is an unmistakable threat display used by many large mammals. A common threat display for the dog is a low growl, with ears laid back and teeth bared. Cats have a threat display also: they stare, make a low growling sound, and adopt a posture that indicates they may attack.

Comedy gold.

Why would anyone pay money to see these two awful human beings pretending to argue?

Bill O could become amazing if he really dedicated his time to tearing Beck apart. This means Bill O'Reilly could potentially find redemption, and hope for humanity could live again.

oddeye - 2010-07-09 Just as he thought he was safe, Bill O'Reilly is shot to death by FEMA Death Panels.
His show is taken over by his annoying son.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-07-09 Nothing on TV is real, least of all not Glenn Beck.

He's fucked up, sure, but I highly doubt he's crazy.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-07-09 As for the requests for BOR to play Colmes to Beck's Hannity, that is exactly what they are doing here. So they're having their cake and eating it too: real America, don't you just hate soccer? But, you know, in a funny tongue-in-cheek sort of way. This was entertaining but it wasn't honest or anything, and BOR certainly wasn't taking Beck to task for his conspiracy-mongering.

Document - 2010-07-09 pastorofmuppets: Yeah, no, I get all of that. They're both on the same side, filthy land of TV lies, I'm just a rodeo clown, etc. etc. There is a real difference in rhetoric between the two though: Beck may not be actually insane, but he plays an insane dude on TV. Bill-o is an old school commentator. We're just happily imagining the day when the two might turn on each other, is all. Will that ever happen? Probably not. At most - like you said - we'll get a pseudo-Colmes and Hannity thing going on. BUT LET US DREAM, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.

SolRo - 2010-07-09 I dream they become good friends, and die in a fiery crash after a night of drinking.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-07-09 I will say this: it's far more entertaining to see joking about fake outrage than actually sell it.

I still believe deep in my heart that Bill O' Reilly is the type who will spontaneously switch sides the moment a person on his side becomes embarrassing enough to make him see himself. Beck is obviously trying to save the man's soul here by shocking him out of evil, but he's bad at it. So far, only Geraldo has come the closest. One day Bill will be the earth's champion of all things good and human, but it might require being gangbanged by Orly Taitz, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and Sarah Palin to do it.

Actually fairly entertaining, even if it is just a talk radio style back and forth between two nutty right wing broadcasters. At least they're actually doing their job rather than create propaganda.
