This makes me nostalgic for the family computer, which was an Amiga 500. Served us through the late 80's and into the very early 90s. It's still in storage somewhere around the old homestead. That was the computer I cut my teeth on, asides from the PC that was dad's PC in his office/workshop filled with stacks of manuals for various models, a variety of disks, etc. I spent most of my time on that one playing text games, accessing drive E or whatever.
The Commodore curse is that they remain fun and useful long after they have become obsolete and the company is gone, so their fate is left to their fanbase. Fortunately they're beloved enough to have good fanbases.
My A500 had the easter egg in ROM where you could get it to say "AMIGA FOREVER: WE BUILT IT, COMMODORE FUCKED IT UP" or something
Stars for the notion of retrocomputing circles, the possibility of being infamous in such circles, and the fact that scamming is what this guy is infamous for.
