Old_Zircon - 2009-09-24 Oh, I think the movie's great, but you can't deny that it's trying so hard to be WaCkY that it hurts to watch. I get a kind of masochistic pleasure out of it,though.

Old_Zircon - 2009-09-24 This scene is easily the best.

This movie gave me a hardon for nuns. Specifically Andie MacDowell as a nun. Also Julie Andrews.
Mother Superior from the Blues Brothers, not so much, though I did like the cut of her jib.

I await the Hudson Hawk fanfic that expands on the Hat Convention backstory.

Bruce Willis never really stopped being David from Moonlighting.

Sadly, they never stopped offering Bruce Willis buckets of money for being David from Moonlighting. Bruce Willis was excellent in Pulp Fiction, and given the chance to star in a REALLY GREAT action movie, he shined. (I refer, of course, to Diehard, and probably also to Diehard 2, which I only saw once. Didn't see any of the other ones. In fact, I'm not sure how many there have been.)
Nicholas Cage is an action star that can do serious drama, e.g. Leaving Las Vegas. Willis's curse is that he is indeed "a superior action star", but superior action movies are few and far between. He's probably been the best thing in a bunch of movies I never would think of seeing, including this one.
