Knowing the dumbfuckery that rally instills in crowds (I think it's Mexico where they dig trenches in the road and gather round to nab pieces of the cars when they wreck), I almost want to say that someone covered a patch of tarmac with gravel and the drivers weren't prepared. Still entertaining to watch though.

Worst? That's the best one I ever saw.

I love how they start cheering and appluading by the end of it. Hell, I would.

Honestly, I was expecting/hoping the VERY LAST car to come around the corner would just nail it.

It's as if someone messed with everyone's pace notes as a practical joke. That was ridiculous how many cars went off in a single rally.

It's corners like this that are the reason I haven't started rallying (yet). Too damn expensive to make a mistake if you don't have sponsors. That said, I WILL be doing the Targa Newfoundland before 2010.

Number 2 is clearly the winner.


As it went on that guy just started AYEAYEAYEAYEAYEing the instant every new car appeared.

I don't think the last two guys even bothered trying.

For some reason, it delights me to think that somewhere there is a farmer who is totally pissed about this all happening next to his barn.

The rest of the race is just an excuse for that corner.

I especially love the guy in the red car at the 1:00 mark. He doesn't even bother checking himself, cursing or getting out of his car, he goes directly to writing without missing a beat.

I like how the crowd visibly increases as we go along.

I like to think that the one pussyfoot defensive driver in the race took the turn at 5 mph and won.

I like how the guy in #133 (canary yellow coupe) had clearly fucked up pretty bad before he even reached the corner.
