I really liked this show. I have no idea why it wasn't more popular. They had really good story arcs.

SolRo - 2020-08-12 Too “Sexy Action!” for the old guard
Not “Sexy Action!” enough for the nu-trek demographic

Two Jar Slave - 2020-08-13 1. Really bad theme song. We all know that.
2. A prequel before prequels became accepted. I remember my Trekkie friends asking why we would want to see stuff that had already happened in a time that was less technologically advanced. Also, the Star Wars prequels were shitting it up in theatres around this time, and nobody wanted more of that.
3. Unmemorable crew. I've watched a decent amount of Enterprise (about twelve episodes), and they don't seem to have a standout. With Data, Worf, and Picard, TNG had three fan-favourites. DS9 had Quark and a great guest list. Voyager had the doctor and 7 of 9.
4. Early 2000s TV CGI was unimpressive, even at the time. Voyager was already overusing CGI, and Enterprise went warp nine with it.
5. Colourless gunmetal greys. I mean, look at that loading image. Even DS9 had more vibrancy.
6. No great plots left in the Star Trek universe, a problem that Trek has yet to fully accept. The whole show should have dealt with the founding of the Federation... and been a movie.
