I've watched every single DS9 and even finished Enterprise. I still haven't even managed to make it past the 3rd season of Voyager. What an obnoxious mess of a series. I hear there's even a George Kostanza episode.
Let's build one ship that splits into three identical ships rather than 3 separate ships!
I'm really glad I was a total Babylon 5 fanboy while this was on, gives one perspective.
That said, where are the Babylon 5 clips? Sure it was good, but it had plenty of mid 90s cringeworthy moments and a train wreck of a first/fifth season(s).
I'm working my way through the Star Trek universe in chronological order (including films) and just recently started Season 5 of TNG. I recall not minding TNG when it aired, being bored by DS9 and absolutely loving Voyager when it came out. Now that I'm older and more mature I'm finding that maybe my perspective on these shows have changed...a bit.
The computer just gives the ship's specs to anyone who asks, so I imagine it's in full trade show demo mode and had yet to be purchased by Starfleet. Andy Dick was a stock asset that came with the FedTrade SDK and was supposed to have been replaced by the company's own holographic sales model.
The ship itself only cost as much as one and a half Galaxy class starships, so never got bought. Also, its security sucked so bad you could hack the radio from the Delta Quadrant.
A better plot would have been AndyDickBot tearing apart the ship to find space cocaine. And then he goes to war with an alien species that also wants the space cocaine, and he winds up living in a space garage somewhere.
