It looks like they had Rhino Ramps with those cheap Harbor Freight ramp sets for putting ATVs into pickup truck beds being held up by jackstands to bridge the gap to the truck. No reasonable person would expect that to work.
I bet the guy still blames his girlfriend for it to this day.
