It's not that. The issue is that this whole ugly incident goes contrary to the progressive narrative which insists that all African Americans are peaceful. This video shows a minority being thuggish and aggressive towards an unstable old man and thus does not uplift the desired image that the progressives have been working hard on creating. Anyone who does not detect the potential damage to the African American community by this video, has not yet wrestled with understanding his or her own racist tendencies and is thus a bigot. Had the video shown a thuggish white boy pick a fight with an elderly black man, and then getting his nose bloodied, we would cheer the incident as it would have upheld the progressive narrative. Does that help?
