I forget about them and rdiscoverthem every year or two. I think I first learned about them as a distinct genre on here but I'm also pretty confident I'd seen them before that when I went on a Pooh's Adventures deep dive in 2015 or 14. Unfortunately most of the best Pooh's Adventures stuff is deleted or private now, I guess because of copyright. Pooh's Adventures of Cats (a 2+ hour long mashup of Cats and Pooh's Adventures edited on VHS and filmed off the screen of a CRT TV set in low resolution) was kind of the gold standard of this kind of thing as far as I'm concerned.
The thing about the Pooh's Adventures stuff is that it never really shows its hand and I still don't know whether or not the people making them are joking or not.
