I live in upstate New York, and everyone I encounter is cooperative and polite as hell. They wait patiently in the aisles for people to shop while keeping a respectful distance. They say "excuse me", and "no problem", and "stay safe".

I don't think random murders over petty shit is a new thing in the States. You can be awash in guns, or you can totally undercut the means of survival of well over half the population, but if you do both you're going to get a lot of shootings.

Cena_mark - 2020-05-07 The people who equate their guns with freedoms are willing to trade away all of their other freedoms and dignities for their guns. Funny how they'll point to a .00001% chance that a gun will save their life, compared to 100% chance that medical professionals will save their life, yet say the gun is a right and healthcare is not.
