It blows my mind how tone deaf he was enough to make Gods of Egypt. "Oh, I didn't really think about how casting a movie based on Egyptian gods almost entirely with white people would be an issue." What? His response to that whole thing sounded like how game developers sound when they get called out on BS. "We appreciate the PASSION our audience has and that PASSION is being UNDERSTOOD and ACKNOWLEDGED so that we better understand this PASSION going forward!"
I, Robot was a good movie and fit perfectly in Asimov's book, edgelords.
Unless you honestly think the story where the robrain on the spaceship kills its crew and gives them a vision of the afterlife to subvert the three laws thing about not killing humans (it doesn't) is some kind of work of sci fi genius (it isn't, that story is totally dumb as hell).
