He was just so great as Cy Tolliver.

Technically both he and Al were charismatic villains but the way he played Cy you would always loathe him over Al.

Just rewatched Tombstone, coincidentally. The scene where he gets high and shoots up the town is great fun. Why they ever killed off his character and handed over the role of main villain to the completely-out-of-his-depth Michael Biehn, we'll never know.
