Like, in a "cowboys and Indians" scenario, Varney plays a scout who has returned to a US Cavalry fort to warn of an impending attack, only to find the whole company is gone. Surrounded, he plays all the roles to make it sound like the fort is fully staffed by a bunch of soldiers ready to attack, performing various Western archetypes, from a John Wayne-esque officer to an Irish soldier.
