They call themselves "Starseeds", and believe themselves to be reincarnated aliens - it's connected to various New Agey movements (like the Ancient Astronauts fandom and the Indigo Child fad from awhile back), and, interestingly, it seems to attract an abnormally high percentage of hot chicks.
