A robot took these pictures, thus, they are garbage.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-08-25 When I was a kid in the 60s and the Apollo missions were happening, I was into space the way some kids were into dinosaurs. Since the internet, I've spent some time getting reacquainted with this stuff, and, holy shit, everything's different! it's a much bigger and weirder solar system and universe than it used to be. They detect planets in the galaxy by measuring their gravitational effect on the stars they orbit. There's a plant that they've nicknamed Tatooine because... get this... it orbits two suns!
In our solar system, Pluto no longer being considered a planet is small potatoes next to the the exploding number of moons discovered orbiting Saturn (62 and counting) and Jupiter (67 and counting.) If I remember Saturn had 10 moods, Jupiter 12
Voyager was the beginning of that, and the mission continues.

Kind of looks like an overripe cantaloupe.

I was 10 years old at the time of this event, and amazed by everything about the Voyager mission. I credit it with helping me become really interested in the world around me when I was still young.
