The general manager hits me really hard. I became really good friends with the Blockbuster General Manager from about 3 doors down from my store. He had the best stories: owned a record store in Minneapolis/St Paul, hung out with Bob Mould and had his own band back then.. now running a Blockbuster, perfectly happy with his current life at 40, recently single, living the life so to speak. Slight cocaine habit aside, his party days were behind him.
That particular Blockbuster was one of the first ones to close in the country.
